[DMNA] REMINDER - DMNA Phase II Planning Focus Group meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 8

Good Morning DMNA Supporters:

Just another reminder that the DMNA is hosting a second focus group meeting
as part of its NRP Phase I plan review process on Thursday, May 8, at 6:30
p.m., in the 5th floor conference room of the Hennepin Center for the Arts.


The purpose of this meeting is to LOOK FORWARD to Phase II of NRP.  In
addition to the required housing allocation, what kinds of programs would
you like the DMNA to fund with its Phase II NRP dollars?  The DMNA has
approximately $639,000 to put toward housing and other community
development activities, such as Arts, Culture and Education; Crime and
Safety; and Downtown Development.

DMNA research assistant Joe Kapper will be facilitating the meeting. 
Attached please find an ad promoting the meeting that was recently
published in the Downtown Journal.  Refreshments will be provided.

Please invite your neighbors to attend and give their input.  This is an
important step in wrapping up Phase I and moving forward into planning for
Phase II NRP.  Your thoughts and ideas are critical to developing a
comprehensive and inclusive Phase II NRP Plan.
