[DMNA] The Wave - More Info

At the monthly Board of Directors of the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood
Association, Inc. held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, the Board passed a
motion stating "WE ARE OPPOSED TO THE PROJECT CALLED THE WAVE".

One of the problems that the developer will face on this project is that
according to the purchase agreement, the developer must have cleared it
through the Minneapolis City Council process within two years of the
agreement (which would be March 17, 2007).

The developer is now in the process of going back to the Park Board and
asking for an extension of this date.     

There will be an informal meeting before the Park Board on February 21, 2007
at 4:15 p.m..  This will be at its headquarters at 2117 West River Road,
Minneapolis, MN..
