Below please find some information about community meetings that have been
set up to discuss the City's Community Engagement Report. The neighborhood
meeting specifically for the downtown community is scheduled for Monday,
February
5, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mill City Museum. Please invite your neighbors to
attend as well.

Public Meetings Set for Discussion of Community Engagement Report
December 15, 2006 - The NRP Policy Board and the Minneapolis City Council
have called for public discussion of the
Community Engagement Report submitted by the City Coordinator on November 9,
2006. As a result, the offices of
the NRP and the City Coordinator are working together to conduct a series of
public meetings and a community survey.
The previously announced deadline for public comment on the report has been
extended until Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Public meetings are scheduled for the end of January and early February, at
locations selected to encourage
attendance by a broad cross-section of community members. Please note that
language interpreters will be at the
meetings on January 30, February 1 and February 5.
The dates, times and locations - and the names of nearby neighborhoods - are
as follows:
Monday, January 29th - West (Harrison, Bryn-Mawr, Kenwood, Lowry Hill,
Cedar-Isles-Dean, East Isles, Lowry Hill East,
Whittier and Stevens Square
Location: Van Dusen Conference Center - 1900 La Salle Ave. S
Time: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Monday, January 29th - Southwest (Windom, Kenny, Armatage, Tangletown,
Lynnhurst, Fulton, Linden Hills, East Harriet,
King Field, Lyndale, CARAG, ECCO, West Calhoun)
Location: Burroughs School - 1601 W. 50th St.
Time: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, January 30th - South Central - (Bancroft, Bryant, Central,
